The son of U.S. Air Force pilot, John Caruso had the fortune to live across the U.S. and in Europe, and would go on to earn a degree in Applied Design from the University of Maryland. Thereafter, he enjoyed a successful career in corporate marketing design and would later become the Art Director for a publisher, designing over 500 book covers, many appearing on various New Times Best Seller lists.
But John’s insatiable curiosity, latent love of photography, and passion for nature would ultimately converge when he found his muse on Singer Island, Florida.
This site is primarily dedicated to celebrating this paradise that John now calls home—and where he can often be found on the beach at the first light of dawn, capturing the magic that is Singer Island, and our beloved sea turtles.
Enjoy!
